Bridge, Inc was started in 2022 by Sean Jones after the baby he had with his wife, Racheal Jones. Their baby was born only 28 weeks into her pregnancy. Racheal and Sean spent most of 2021 living out of hospitals. Baby Hadrian was born on January 1st, 2021 at 1 lb. 4.8 ounces. He was in the NICU from that day through June 8th. From there, the Jones were home for a little over a month until July 13th, when a regular appointment ended with admittance to a PICU. They would live out of the next four months there. They both believed that being at the hospital as a family with Hadrian would give him the best hope for recovery. Love is powerful medicine! During that time, they realized a few things. One, question everything the hospital wants to do. Two, be involved in meeting with medical staff on their rounds every day. Three, rely on a sound support system to help them get through this. Fortunately, this family has a fantastic support system full of friends and family. Many people don’t have such a robust support system. Sean and Racheal both realized that many people had come from areas far away and didn’t have supplies during their stay. They then started donating food and personal hygiene products to the hospital for needy parents upon request. They also left food in the refrigerator that was made available to anyone who needed it. Sean started to work on the idea for Bridge, Inc. a few weeks before Hadrian was discharged, and made it a reality shortly after arriving home.
